choices, plaques

Plaques are available in several styles.

Basic plaques  are modeled from the arrowhead or  ammunition used to harvest the deer.

Deluxe plaques  are also modeled from the arrowhead or ammunition used to harvest the  deer; however, they're  more elaborate.

Flying plaques are unique in that the arrowhead or ammunition is displayed in a non-traditional way...as though "flying" out of the wall.

European Mounts are the compilation of the time-honored European and our non-traditional style of displaying a hunter's bounty.

Modified European Mounts are the most sculptural and eye-catching.  They incorporate a "neck" with "muscles" that are suggestive, and seem to have the ability to move.  The antler mounts are set to mimic the position of a head.  That positioning enables us to replicate a reasonably faithful image of a live animal without skin and hair, the bulk of a shoulder mount.

These are definitely our most interesting and eye catching plaques.

All of the plaques made by Goreham Woodcraft are built to scale.  Broadheads or rifle cartridges are measured and transposed to the scale of 6.4 to one.  We measure the projectile or cartridge sent to us by the buyer (broadheads or cartridges will be returned with plaque).  There are only two actual mount sizes.  Those are determined by the antler size.

We ask that the buyer send or deliver the antlers to us, along with the broadhead or cartridge.  We will build the plaque in the style the buyer specifies and ship or deliver the finished plaque.  Special crates will be constructed for the shipment and the shipment will be insured for the value of the plaque plus the value, specified by the buyer, of the antlers.
