deluxe archery antler plaques with european mounts

  • 100gr Montec G5, carbon express arrow with european mount

The frontal view of this plaque uses the basic european mount.  The skull is not permanently attached to the mount, as we did not want to damage the delicate portions of the skull.

  • 100gr Montec G5, Carbon Express arrow with european mount

The left side view illustrates early changes to the shape of the mount support

  • 100 gr Muzzy 4 blade, Gold Tip arrow with modified european mount

A close friend asked if we could temporarily mount antlers while he waited for his taxidermist to mount them to a shoulder mount.  Sounded good to us!  The resulting plaque is impressive!

  • 100gr Muzzy 4 blade, Gold Tip arrow with modified european mount

A right side view of this plaque shows one of our early european mounts.

  • 125gr Bear Razor Head, Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

Frontal view shows an early support for the european mount.

  • 125gr Bear Razor Head, Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

Right side view of this european mount and plaque.

  • 125gr Bear Razor Head, Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

Left side view of antler mount with modified european mount.

  • 142gr Razorback 5, Easton Gamegetter 2 arrow with modified european mount

The only picture of this plaque, but an impressive set of antlers presented on a nice plaque.

  • 150gr Rocky Mountain Supreme, 2219 Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

Frontal view of this plaque illustrates that these plaques accomodate average antlers nicely.

  • 150gr Rocky Mountain Supreme, 2219 Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

Left side view of this plaque shows the progression of the sculptural shape of the 'neck'.

  • 150gr Rocky Mountain Supreme, 2219 Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

Right side view demonstrates the "natural" attitude of the antlers and their relationship with the suggested shape of a neck.

  • 125gr Muzzy 4 blade, 2213 Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

The turned 'head' of this european mount is evident in this front on view of this plaque.

  • 125gr Muzzy 4 blade, 2213 Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

This view shows the 'neck' as being somewhat obscured of detail, but the flowing lines certainly suggest the utility of the support.

  • 125gr Muzzy 4 blade, 2213 Easton XX75 arrow with modified european mount

A right side view of the support shows the muscular structure of the 'neck', and how successfully movement is suggested.

  • 125gr Ben Pearson glue on,11/32 Forged wood arrow with modified european mount

Rutting posture of the 'head'.  It is an interesting idea, but lends itself to a plaque that is placed lower than most plaques are placed.

With longer 'necks', it is shown that we are not limited to mounting the racks in only traditional positions.

One of our close friends found the skelton of a young buck while antler hunting and asked if we would make a plaque to mount the skull.

The effect is interesting, as far as european mounts go, and he appreciated the plaque.  But we began to really enjoy the european mounts when we started modifying them.

Those modifications began by using the mounting plate in much the same way we use the mounting blocks on our more traditional plaques.  That is, when we permanently attached the antlers without skulls to the european mount.

When we graduated to the incorporation of more sculptural supports for the european mounts, we realized some really aesthetically pleasing results.

These plaques are, as far as we are concerned, the creme of our lineup of antler plaques.

Browse through these plaques and send comments to us.  We are anxious to hear what others think about our direction.
