flying archery antler plaques

To date, we have only made one of these plaques, but feel the style is worth showing.  The plaque is very unique (a true one of a kind item).  Who knows, some of these plaques may one day become collector's items.

  • 142gr Razorback 3, Gold Tip arrow

The frontal view of this plaque demonstrates the 'precarious' effect the plaque demonstrates.

Left side view of this plaque shows the spacer, between the tip and blade insert

  • 142gr Razorback 3, Gold Tip arrow

The right side view of this plaque shows an even better view of the separation between the insert and other parts of the plaque.  You can see from the view as well, the 'precarious' attitude of the plaque.  That attitude increases the sence of uniqueness and the realization that many things are possible with a little imagination and willingness to experiment...as far as taxidermy is concerned.

The Flying Head style plaque is a very unique and exciting antler plaque.

Because the heads protrude from the wall, they are full 3-dimensional plaques.  The beauty of three dimensions is that we are limited less in what can be done with the broadheads.

As some will know, Razorback broadheads feature a blade insert that spins on contact, and the one we made incorporates that feature.  The buyer really enjoys that aspect of his plaque!

There is something special about these plaques too.  They are hung on the wall and supported by a smaller surface, making it seem impossible for the plaque remain on the wall.

The antler attachment is nearly identical to that of all other plaques made by Goreham Woodcraft.

Please feel free to comment on these examples. we would like to have your feedback.
